Football Recap: Severn School Comes Up Short

Severn School fell victim to John Carroll and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 13-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. Having soared to a lofty 56 points in the game before, the Admirals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Carson Shoffner was his usual excellent self, rushing for 118 yards for John Carroll.

Severn School's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for John Carroll, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Severn School wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 35-14 defeat against Pallotti on the 26th. As for John Carroll, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-20 win against St. John's Catholic Prep on the 26th.
