Soccer Game Preview: Poly vs. Rancho Cucamonga

The Poly Bears will head out to take on the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Poly's offense. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Valencia an easy 5-0 win. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Tigers are ranked 19th).

Meanwhile, Rancho Cucamonga also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell just short of Granite Hills by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

Rancho Cucamonga's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2-1. As for Poly, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2-2.
