Potter-Dix is 1-6 against Wauneta-Palisade since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Potter-Dix Coyotes will be staying on the road to face off against the Wauneta-Palisade Broncos at 2:00 p.m. Potter-Dix will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each match than the last.
Last Friday, Potter-Dix was able to grind out a solid victory over Sioux County, taking the game 3-1.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-11, 25-27, 25-20.
Meanwhile, Wauneta-Palisade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell just short of Maywood/Hayes Center by a score of 3-2.
Wauneta-Palisade took Maywood/Hayes Center into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The final score came out to 25-23, 15-25, 25-27, 25-20, 15-9.
Potter-Dix's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Wauneta-Palisade, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
