Volleyball Recap: Seacrest Country Day Falls to Gulf Coast in First Game of Season

Seacrest Country Day had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Gulf Coast Sharks on Thursday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Stingrays have suffered since August 24, 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-11, 25-16.

Gulf Coast has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Seacrest Country Day will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Community School of Naples at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gulf Coast, they will square off against Lely at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
