Softball Recap: Dimond Lynx vs. Service Cougars
Dimond stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. Everything went their way against the Service Cougars as the Dimond Lynx made off with a 9-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Dimond.
Dimond let Kinsey MacDonald and Chloe Severson loose on the outfield. MacDonald went 1-for-3 with three RBI and a double, while Severson scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Molley Faapouli, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.
On Service's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Davis, who went 1-for-1 with an RBI.
Dimond's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Service, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
