Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Christopher McGee stepped things up a notch to give Montrose the 'W'. McGee wasn't messing around, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was his fourth straight with two or fewer walks.

Looking ahead, McGee and Montrose will head out on the road to take on Forest City at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Meteors got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Foresters thanks in part to McGee: he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.
