Howard put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 13-10 victory over the Hammond Golden Bears. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Bears, too.

Dom Alves made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Alves was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Howard let Gavin Nystrom and Carter Parise run wild.
