Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Valders walked away with it. They walked away with a 49-41 victory over the Algoma Wolves on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2016.

Valders' win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Algoma, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Valders nor Algoma have any future games scheduled.
