It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Morgantown had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Hedgesville Eagles by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Mohigans sure are getting used to it with their 16th in a row.
Despite the loss, Hedgesville still got an impressive performance from Adyson Seymour, who had six digs and two aces. Seymour has been hot recently, having also posted 12 or more assists the last three times she's played.
Morgantown's victory bumped their record up to 37-4-1. As for Hedgesville, they moved to 41-4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their 20-match winning streak.
As of now, neither Morgantown nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
