Jackson's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the McClain Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. The game was the first time the Ironman/Ironladies have beaten the Tigers on their court since September 15, 2022.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-19.

Emma Carroll paced Jackson's offense, picking up 14 kills. Carroll got some help from Daycee Howard and her 29 assists. Ella Osborne controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for McClain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Jackson will square off against rival Hillsboro at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, McClain is set to challenge their familiar foe Miami Trace at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
