Soccer Recap: Basalt Takes a Loss

Basalt was the 2-1 winner over Coal Ridge when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Longhorns fell just short of the Titans by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Basalt has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-5-2 record this season. As for Coal Ridge, they pushed their record up to 5-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Basalt didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 defeat against Roaring Fork on the 17th. As for Coal Ridge, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Aspen on the 17th.
