Recap: Ganado Indians vs. Edna Cowboys
The Ganado Indians lost against the Edna Cowboys back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Ganado received a tough blow as they fell 61-42 to Edna. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ganado in their matchups with Edna: they've now lost four in a row.
Ganado's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Isabel Tristan, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Michaela Estrada, who scored 4 points along with 12 rebounds.
Ganado has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Edna, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3.
Ganado will look to defend their home court on Friday against Palacios at 1:30 p.m. Palacios is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Edna, they will challenge Columbus at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
