Softball Recap: Andrew Jackson Extends Winning Streak to Three

Andrew Jackson waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 16-13 victory over the Bolles Bulldogs. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered an 18-6 loss the last time these two teams met.

Areya Foster spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and nine unearned) runs on ten hits.

On the hitting side, Taelor Chambliss was a standout: she scored a run while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Deja Wescott was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.

Chambliss wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Andrew Jackson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in four consecutive contests.
