Baseball Recap: Northwood Academy Has No Trouble Against Palmetto Christian Academy

Northwood Academy put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Palmetto Christian Academy. The victory continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with Palmetto Christian Academy: they've now won four in a row.

Northwood Academy got a great performance from Wesley Boldin as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Noah Oswald was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was William Rose, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Northwood Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive contests.

Northwood Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Palmetto Christian Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
