Soccer Recap: Cascade Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Cascade was not quite Central Magnet's equal in the second half on Thursday. They lost 5-0 to Central Magnet. While losing is never fun, Cascade can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 228th, while Central Magnet are ranked 35th).

Cascade has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-6-3 record this season. As for Central Magnet, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2-3.

Coming up, Cascade will be playing in front of their home fans against Forrest at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Magnet, they will venture away from home to face off against Tullahoma at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
