Softball Recap: The Classical Academy Titans vs. Falcon Falcons
After flying high against Mitchell last Thursday, The Classical Academy came back down to earth. The Classical Academy Titans fell just short of the Falcon Falcons by a score of 9-8 on Tuesday. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September.
Taytum Kimbro put in work while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Khaiyah Bacon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Veronica Santos, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Elizabeth will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something The Classical Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Falcon, they will challenge Sierra at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Falcon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.
