Basketball Game Preview: Smyrna Bulldogs vs. Ravenwood Raptors + How To Watch

The Smyrna Bulldogs just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Ravenwood Raptors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Smyrna knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Ravenwood likes a good challenge.

On Monday, Smyrna came up short against Nolensville and fell 67-57.

Despite the loss, Smyrna got top-tier performance from Elliyon Kinzer, who went 12-for-29 to rack up 37 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. The game was Kinzer's fourth in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Kaden Matthews, who posted 14 points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Ravenwood humbled KIPP Global with a 63-32 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Raptors just coasted through the last quarter.

The victory made it two in a row for Ravenwood and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points over those games. As for Smyrna, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Smyrna couldn't quite get it done against Ravenwood in their previous meeting back in November of 2015 as they fell 65-58. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
