Softball Recap: Pine Comes Up Short

Pine lost against Lakeshore back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Pine Raiders fell 12-7 to Lakeshore. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pine's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lakeshore, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Pine will venture away from home to square off against Maurepas at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Maurepas has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.89 runs per game on average), something Pine will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lakeshore, they will be playing at home against Loranger at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Loranger comes in on ten and Lakeshore on three.
