Basketball Recap: Ronaldo Alcantara Key Part of a Team Effort in Vipers Win

Lake Buena Vista came into Saturday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Kathleen Red Devils by a score of 63-56 on Saturday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lake Buena Vista to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ronaldo Alcantara, who went 6 of 10 en route to 14 points along with seven boards and three steals. Alcantara is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Travis Ligene, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds.

Kathleen's loss came despite strong showings from Rashard Kelly and Mason Keys. Kelly posted 15 points, while Keys put up 13 points. A'Jean Rumph was another key player, putting up seven points.

The win got Lake Buena Vista back to even at 7-7. As for Kathleen, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Lake Buena Vista wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 63-59 loss against West Orange on the 7th. As for Kathleen, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-38 defeat against Lake Wales on the 6th.
