Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

Mountain View lost against Blue Ridge two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Raiders. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Blue Ridge got the win, Mountain View sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-7, 26-24.

When it comes to explaining why Mountain View lost, don't look at Addison Kilmer. Despite the final result, she had ten blocks, six kills, and four digs. Kilmer is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now had two or more in each of the last ten games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Karley Norton, who had seven kills and three digs.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Blue Ridge, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
