Westwood's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Dobson Mustangs a 10-0 shutout. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Westwood's record is now 8-9. As for Dobson, their loss dropped their record down to 1-20.

Coming up, Westwood will welcome Mountain Ridge at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mountain Lions will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dobson, they are taking a road trip to square off against Maryvale at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.81 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
