Basketball Recap: Horseshoe Bend Comes Up Short

Horseshoe Bend was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 66-62 heartbreaker at the hands of the Vincent Yellow Jackets.

Horseshoe Bend's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Vincent, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Horseshoe Bend will face off against Ranburne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Vincent, they will challenge Childersburg at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
