Basketball Game Preview: Midway Green Wave vs. Coalfield Yellow Jackets

Midway hasn't had much luck against Coalfield recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Midway Green Wave will challenge the Coalfield Yellow Jackets. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Midway comes in on five and Coalfield on 15.

Midway's tournament run continued when they took on Harriman on Monday. Midway came out on top against Harriman by a score of 65-52.

Meanwhile, Coalfield got the win against Wartburg Central on Monday by a conclusive 62-36. The Yellow Jackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Midway's win bumped their record up to 20-10. As for Coalfield, their victory bumped their record up to 29-5.

Midway lost to Coalfield on the road by a decisive 59-42 margin in their previous meeting back in January. Can Midway avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
