 Holmes is 1-9 against Camden County since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Holmes Aces will look to defend their home field  against the Camden County Bruins at 7:00  p.m. Holmes is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.1  runs per game  this season.
 On Friday, Holmes beat First Flight 7-3. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Holmes.
  Mia Hoffer made a big impact no matter where she played. She  tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   nine  hits. Hoffer was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jordan Ward, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Harper Evans, who  went 1-for-4 with a  triple and a  run.
 Meanwhile,  after a string of 11 wins, Camden County's good fortune finally ran out  on Thursday. They fell  4-1 to Bear Grass Charter. Camden County was red-hot at the plate headed into the  contest (they scored no less than ten  runs in the four  games prior) but Bear Grass Charter's pitcher proved too tough.
 Camden County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Tessa Dodson, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Holmes' win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 12-7. As for Camden County, their loss  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 11-2.
 Holmes suffered a grim  14-6 defeat to Camden County  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023. Thankfully for Holmes,  Morgan Gallop (who  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with a  home run, three  RBI,  and a  stolen base) won't be suiting up this time.
