Volleyball Recap: Deary Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Deary was the 3-0 winner over Timberline when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. While the Mustangs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Spartans 25-21 in the first set.

Deary started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 22-25, 25-23, 25-20, 18-16.

Deary now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Timberline, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Looking ahead, Deary will look to defend their home court on Thursday against St. John Bosco Academy at 7:00 p.m. The Mustangs are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Timberline, they will challenge Genesee at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
