Softball Recap: Hiawatha Hawks vs. Orangeville Broncos

After flying high against Christian Liberty last Friday, Hiawatha came back down to earth. The Hiawatha Hawks wound up on the wrong side of a rough 14-2 walloping at the hands of the Orangeville Broncos on Monday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest runs Hiawatha has scored all season.

Mia Siddall made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with a home run.

As for Orangeville, they will play host again on Thursday to welcome Lena-Winslow, where first pitch is scheduled at 4:30 p.m. Orangeville knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with flashy run totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Lena-Winslow likes a good challenge.
