Volleyball Recap: Donovan Catholic Comes Up Short

Donovan Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Liberty Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 4th.

Donovan Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Liberty, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Donovan Catholic will take on Pinelands Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Griffins surely won't give up without a fight. As for Liberty, they will head out to square off against Colts Neck at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
