Soccer Recap: East Rockingham Takes a Loss

East Rockingham was the 7-1 winner over Broadway when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Gobblers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

East Rockingham has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Broadway, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 2-3-1.

Looking ahead, East Rockingham will challenge Turner Ashby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Rockingham will need to watch out since Turner Ashby have now posted at least four goals in their last four matches. As for Broadway, they will face off against Harrisonburg at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Harrisonburg's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
