Soccer Recap: Deer Park Takes a Loss

Deer Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Fayetteville-Perry Rockets, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Deer Park can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 392nd, while Fayetteville-Perry are ranked 168th).

Deer Park's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for Fayetteville-Perry, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-1 record this season.

Deer Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fayetteville-Perry, they will head out on the road to face off against Clermont Northeastern at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
