Evangelical Christian put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Seacrest Country Day Stingrays an 11-0 shutout. Give the Sentinels' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's ninth straight shutout.

Hayden Billie looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Keaunna Green and Karsyn Mootz did most of the damage at the plate: Green scored three runs and stole Four bases. while going 3-for-4, while Mootz scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits Green has posted since back in April of 2024. Samantha Yzaguirre was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Evangelical Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Seacrest Country Day only posted an OBP of .111.

Evangelical Christian's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.7 runs. As for Seacrest Country Day, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Evangelical Christian will be taking part in a tournament against Bishop Verot at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Evangelical Christian has yet to allow a single run through five contests this season, a streak Bishop Verot will look to end. As for Seacrest Country Day, they will face off against Community School of Naples at 6:00 p.m. on March 11th.
