Teurlings Catholic waltzed into their match on Friday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They put the hurt on the Sulphur Golden Tors with a sharp 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Teurlings Catholic let Brennen Storms and Jack Purser run wild. Storms went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Purser went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Purser has posted since back in February of 2024. Will Power was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.

They weren't the only one making solid contact: Teurlings Catholic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive games.

Teurlings Catholic's victory was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Sulphur, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-18.

Looking ahead, Teurlings Catholic will challenge St. Edmund at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sulphur does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
