Baseball Recap: Eisenhower Knights vs. Northwestern Wildcats
Eisenhower extended their losing streak to five on Thursday, dropping them down to 1-13. They lost 10-0 to the Northwestern Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-2 back in April.
As for Northwestern, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
For Northwestern's part, Eisenhower's batters probably weren't too happy with Dom Norris, who pitched a no hitter and racked up seven Ks (he gave up a single walk).
At the plate, Kaleb Stout was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2025. Solomon Bland was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one run.
Coincidentally, Eisenhower and Northwestern will both be playing Seneca the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Knights will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
