Baseball Recap: Moberly Takes a Loss

Moberly blew Hannibal out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Hannibal got their revenge. The Spartans fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 6-4.

Moberly's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Hannibal, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-13 record this season.

Moberly didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-5 win against Marshall on the 30th. As for Hannibal, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 8-1 defeat against Hickman on the 30th.
