Soccer Game Preview: Miller School of Albemarle vs. Bath County

The Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks will square off against the Bath County Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Miller School of Albemarle has given up an average of 6 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Miller School of Albemarle is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They lost 9-1 to Eastern Mennonite. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Miller School of Albemarle were already down 4-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Haven Teachman, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in March, Bath County was forced to settle for a draw on Wednesday. They and Fort Chiswell finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Bath County's draw gives them a new season record of 3-5-2. As for Miller School of Albemarle, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything went Miller School of Albemarle's way against Bath County when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Miller School of Albemarle made off with a 6-0 victory.
