 The Dunnellon Tigers will be playing at home against the Citrus Hurricanes at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Dunnellon will be strutting in after a  victory while Citrus will be coming in after a  loss.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Dunnellon gave their fans yet another huge  win on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  a  15-7 margin over North Marion. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Dunnellon considering their one-run performance the  game before.
  Makayla Duncan made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned run off   four  hits (she also didn't allow any  walks). Duncan was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-6.
 In other batting news, Dunnellon got a  massive  performance out of  Taytym Simonsen, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-6. Another player making a difference was  Samantha Bernstein, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple.
 Meanwhile,  after a string of four wins, Citrus' good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They fell just short of Crystal River by a score of  2-0. The  match marked that first time this year in which Citrus was not able to get on the board.
  Kaylin Smith was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she  struck out six batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits.
 At the plate, Citrus saw one different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Riley Tirrell, who  went 1-for-3 with a  double.
 Dunnellon's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 5-8. They've been dominating during the  matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 10.3 runs. As for Citrus, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 8-5.
