Basketball Recap: Logos Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the Logos Knights came up short against the Coeur d'Alene Vikings and fell 64-55. That's two games in a row now that the Knights have lost by exactly nine points.

Despite the loss, Logos still got an impressive performance from Seamus Wilson, who went 8 of 18 on his way to 25 points and three steals. Wilson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 17 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Baxter Covington, who went 6 for 10 en route to 14 points.

Even though they lost, Logos smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.

Logos' defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Coeur d'Alene, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Logos will head out to square off against Troy at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th. As for Coeur d'Alene, they will head out on the road to take on Sandpoint at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
