Volleyball Recap: Seymour Victorious

Seymour won the last time they faced Rising Sun and things went their way on Saturday too. The Owls walked away with a 2-0 win over the Shiners. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Owls.

Seymour found their leader in freshman London Williams, who had seven aces and five digs. Those seven aces set a new season-high mark for Williams. Norah Campbell was another key player, getting eight digs and two aces.

Seymour was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive games.

Seymour's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Rising Sun, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

Seymour didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Connersville on the 13th. As for Rising Sun, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Pike on the 13th.
