Volleyball Recap: Vanmeter Lillian and Longcore Emma Secure Win for Grant

Grant won the last time they faced Central Montcalm and things went their way on Saturday too. The Tigers came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 2-0.

Leading Grant to victory were Longcore Emma and VanMeter Lillian. Emma had seven digs and two aces, while Lillian had nine digs. That's the most digs Lillian has posted since back in September.

Grant has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-16-3 record this season. As for Central Montcalm, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-20.

Grant will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against White Cloud at 12:30 p.m. As for Central Montcalm, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Fulton at 2:00 p.m.
