Volleyball Recap: Dodgeland Gets the Win

Dodgeland saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Chesterton Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Dodgeland easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18.

Dodgeland had a senior duo take command as Kayden Denure had 12 assists and four aces and Alexis Bingen had ten digs and two aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Denure. Abby Kast also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Dodgeland's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Chesterton Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-2.

Dodgeland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against St. Mary's Springs on the 13th. As for Chesterton Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Cambridge on the 13th.
