Soccer Recap: Colonial Takes a Loss

Colonial lost against East River back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Colonial Grenadiers might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the East River Falcons an easy 4-0 win.

Colonial has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for East River, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7-2.

After both having extra time off, Colonial and Boone will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Colonial is facing Boone at the right time seeing as Boone is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for East River, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cypress Creek at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
