They were dealt a 59-29 loss at the hands of the Corpus Christi Moody Trojans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-42 back in December of 2024.

Shantaye Hazel was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double on 16 points, ten boards, and nine steals for Corpus Christi Moody. Hazel has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 25 times she's played. Kiyah Taylor was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.

Carroll dropped their record down to 9-17 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Corpus Christi Moody, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season.
