Bishop LeBlond came tearing into Thursday's contest with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Cameron Dragons 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

While Bishop LeBlond won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-10, 26-24.

Leading Bishop LeBlond to victory were Brylee Miller and Emily Conz. Miller had ten digs and two assists, while Conz hit 83.3% for five kills and six aces and five digs. Conz has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Despite the defeat, Cameron saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Amy Barnes had 14 digs and one assist.

Bishop LeBlond's record now sits at 25-4-1. As for Cameron, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-24-1 record this season.

Bishop LeBlond didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Lafayette on the 21st. As for Cameron, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Plattsburg on the 20th.
