Academy of Richmond County had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Westside Patriots a 14-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Academy of Richmond County, who have now won 14 games by four goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Westside from everywhere, as ten different players booted in a goal. Carson Murphy led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Academy of Richmond County pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 71 goals over those eight matchups. As for Westside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.
