Perry will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Dobson on Tuesday. The Pumas blew past the Mustangs 5-2. Perry haven't had any issues with Dobson recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Hamilton got the win against Browne on Tuesday by a conclusive 7-1. Given Hamilton's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked third, while Browne are ranked 65th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 9-1-1. As for Perry, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3-1.
