Volleyball Recap: Kemmerer Comes Up Short

Kemmerer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Big Piney Punchers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Punchers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

While Kemmerer had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 25-19.

Kemmerer's defeat dropped their record down to 3-25. As for Big Piney, their victory bumped their record up to 4-11.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Kemmerer will take on rival Wind River at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Big Piney is set to challenge their familiar foe Wyoming Indian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
