Berkley came into Thursday's contest having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Rochester Falcons by a score of 13-9 on Thursday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Bears' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Alyse Muscat and Brooke Schall did most of the damage at the plate: Muscat went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI, while Schall went 2-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Schall has posted over her last ten matches. Mari Strat was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Berkley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 7-2 when they post 11 or more hits.

Berkley's win bumped their record up to 8-13-1. As for Rochester, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Falcons beat Berkley by a score of 9-6 later that day.
