            Baseball Recap: Norris Titans vs. Beatrice Orangemen        
        
		
        
        
            There's no place like home for Norris, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Friday. Everything went their way against the Beatrice Orangemen on Saturday as Norris made off with  a  15-7 victory. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Orangemen, too.
 Crew Moeller made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Moeller was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 In other pitching news,  Eli Starner looked comfortable as he  tossed 1.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 Back at the plate,  Bryce Fountain was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Tanner Klein, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-4.
 Norris  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .537. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Beatrice only posted  an  OBP of  .361.

Norris' win was  their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 1-1. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Beatrice, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
