Franklin had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Thrall on Tuesday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Thrall, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.
