Soccer Game Preview: Bradley Central vs. Walker Valley

Bradley Central is 1-9 against Walker Valley since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Bears will host the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

On Tuesday, Bradley Central needed a bit of extra time to put away Ooltewah. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Owls 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for Bradley Central, who have now won three matches in a row.

Meanwhile, Walker Valley had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Blue Raiders.

Alex Lakatosh and Camden Waldrop scored both of Walker Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Walker Valley's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three games. As for Bradley Central, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.
