Inter-Lakes faced Mascenic Regional in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Lakers blew past the Vikings 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Lakers in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won three in a row.

One reason for the win was Inter-Lakes' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-8.

Kiera Moynihan paced Inter-Lakes' offense, picking up ten kills. Moynihan got some help from Emily Doda and her 20 assists. Alyssa Snow and Lillian Lybrand kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Inter-Lakes' win bumped their record up to 16-0. As for Mascenic Regional, their loss ended an eight-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-3.
